It is November and 79°. Tell me again why we didn't move to the south sooner? Oh right. That whole job thing.
Normally, I would be making soups, stews, roasts and other cold weather comfort food. I think I might just have to get over it and stop worrying so much about the weather when I plan meals. In fact, I have about 900 soup recipes I want to try.Yum. Soup.
All meals are served with fruit and a salad.
Sunday- Pizza I used my favorite pizza dough recipe and made two cheese pizzas for less than what it would cost to pick up one hot and ready pizza. Get back to putting fresh vegetables on pizza.
Monday - Brats, buttered/seasoned pasta, green beans Marty made dinner, what can I say?
Tuesday - Lemon, garlic and herb chicken and rice This was so good! I just made the marinade up as I went (olive oil, the juice of 1 lemon, a little lemon zest, Italian seasoning, garlic and S&P)
Wednesday - Steak, pasta with Greek seasoning and chopped flat leaf parsley, stewed okra and tomatoes
Thursday - Catfish, leftover okra, hushpuppies, Chicken with Tabbouleh I do not like fish and the kids don't like tabbouleh. Works for me.
Friday - Ribs, collard greens
Saturday - Everyone was on their own for dinner.
